Glass Art: Glass Fusion is Here

Puddy Mud is now offering a new create your own art form called Glass Fusing and Slumping. Customers can create their own beautiful glass art right here at Puddy Mud. To start, just pick a blank glass shape, and then create your design by choosing from a variety of glass shapes colorful types of frit, noodles, stringers, nippets and rods. You then begin creating by layering one piece of glass on top of the other to make your own a pattern. abstract design or landscape.. There will also be molds for you to use to create your own glass jewelry..

A Puddy Mud employee will be on hand to instruct and teach you all about the different types of glass that can be used. After you have finished designing, we will fuse your creation together in our kilns. Once fired, you can take your glass art as is or you can decide to “slump it”.  Slumping is a second firing process that melts your fused piece to take on a shape such as a vase,  a bowl, a sushi dish or a serving plate to name only a few.  Please read my “blog” for a more detailed explanation of Glass Fuion and how it works.  Watch our web site for classes coming soon.  Looking forward to seeing “ya all”  here at Puddy Mud..
